I was messing around with gyro sensitivity in various games and i found out that changing the sensitivity didnt affect my aim negatively at all. Because when you aim with gyro you hold the controller firm and it really doesnt shake, ecen with low deadzone. Only quirk is that camera is more shaky during running and turning around, but even that can be mitigated with increasing gyro deadzone, precision scale and/or decreasing vertical sensitivity to sth like 60%.

Awesome gameplay, well done! This is just one of the many scenarios where gyro + flick stick shines, compared to stick-only (and even compared to mouse!) I also use gyro (no flick stick tho), and I've done so since 2017 (Splatoon) and 2018 (Fortnite) I play FN on Switch and PS4 (and rarely, mobile) and gyro is literally a free skillboost on all 3 platforms - i can perform flicks and build battle ppl on mobile (because of gyro), even tho I literally suck at mobile with touch-only, and I've never been a dedicated mobile player

Not a huge battle Royale person, but I do have fun playing with my little sister sometimes. (Trying to get her to play anything else is a chore lol). I do need to try the native gyro sometime. I have only played with m&kb or the input labs alpakka do far, so that is all mouse input.

This was my 1st Fortnite round in maybe a year or so. Played with my younger nephew who asked me to play and we ended up winning our 1st round together lol. Was pretty fun. Will need to get him a headset though so we can actually communicate lol. My settings are at the end of the video. Im running with my recent high Acceleration (about 9x) and a high end RWS just above 20. Not gonna lie, these settings felt EXCELLENT. I will tweak them slightly but the levely of control, stability, and range of motion was great feeling. I use Ratcheting periodically when needed along with Flick Stick but 99% of my movements you see are all Gyro Aim.

Even when it's a bad season, Fortnite is still the best BR out. With the best gyro to match.

how do you deal with the gyro bug on PS5 where when making fine slow movements the camera sticks. not sure if you're aware of that bug

It is a pretty fun fact to know that whenever I get a gyro kill on the PS5 with cross play off, it’s always an AA player that I fragged. Question for you though: I’m guessing you’ve set your initial scale at 0.1… what do you use for your threshold value with 10x acceleration?

Good game. I admit I don't play call of duty but I have officially figured out how I like to set up acceleration and its a game changer.

I still don't get it why roit games didn't add gyro support on valorant console 🤦🏻 as if xbox's problem is everyone's problem. COD has motion aiming and Activision is under Microsoft lool.

I play Warzone and i use gyro always 👍. I cant play sticks, with gyro i love to play. I use much lover sensitives 😁

Very nice, though, as a person who has a soft spot for historical WWII guns, it pains me to see modernized kar98ks lol. Great gameplay though. Just suggested gyro aim to another person that didn't know about it. Hope it catches on more widely.

I'll have to try it again. Last time, the gyro wouldn't work at all when I had a bind to disable it.

How's it overrated?

I was talking with the input labs guys about adding a gyro sensitivity multiplier bind. It could probably give similar results to this, but it wouldn't be tied to how fast you move. They said it's in the pipeline. I'm pretty excited for that.

That's a speedy pov. I just started with acceleration, got it on 2 so far, feels good. Probably ratcheting a little more than you, but I play Med AKM Lazer. GG

I think my problem with mastering gyro aim rn is using ratcheting way too much, whenever i move i find my hands in weird position so i have to use ratcheting to straighten it, but when i watch you you somehow are able to always maintain your hands at a normal position. I use your settings to play so i must be doing something wrong. Nice video btw

Settings at the end of the video. I moved my Acceleration Threshold down to 60 which makes my High End Sensitivity (18 RWS) feel more prevalent. Thus a closer to "linear" feeling as most of my Sensitivity will be closer to this level. While also slightly lowering my Low End Sensitivity down to 3 from my usual 4.0. This helps maintain a bit of stability without the need of strong Steadying and any deadzones so tracking feels more natural still. 99% of the movements you see are simply the use of Gyro Aim. Very little Right Stick being used and occasional Ratcheting to recenter my controller.
